It is binary. There is no partial coherence that somehow still counts because everyone is tired and would like the page to stop staring at them.
When the Gate is ON, entry is permitted. When it is OFF, the work is not to push harder. The work is to restore.
entry is not action. Once inside the field, action still waits for clean read, aligned posture, valid cost, and one authorized release.

Checking Without Harm
- Assume OFF if uncertain.
- Restore the read-state first: clear mirror, calm water.
- Cycle body posture once to manufacture stability before re-entry.
- Re-check entry.
- If still OFF, widen the circle, reduce the ask, or defer.
- If ON, enter cleanly and hold until action is authorized.

Clean Read Verification
A clean read is not internally declared. It must survive validation across time, agents, and reality.
- Temporal Consistency (浮) — the read must hold across successive cycles. If it collapses immediately, it was not clean.
- Multi-Node Alignment — the read must survive contact with other perspectives not under your control.
- Reality Resonance — movement based on the read must reduce distortion in the field, not merely produce compliance.
A read that sounds coherent but fails under contradiction, replication, or contact with reality is distortion, regardless of articulation quality.
Reads are provisional until validated. Authorization is earned through survival, not confidence.
Ethics & Observability Airlock

Routing Integrity
Correct routing is a condition of coherence. Urgency does not override protocol.

- No Lateral Escalation — bypassing assigned roles introduces distortion, even under pressure.
- Declared Urgency — emergent situations must be explicitly named and routed through correct channels.
