Two Ways In
Book 2 gives the reader two valid navigation schemes. One is positional. One is sequential. They touch, but they are not the same thing.
Constellation Doors
Use the stars when the field condition is already visible. Locate the pressure, find the matching position, and enter there.
Book 2 Path
Use the path when you want the standard walk-through. Start at Lineage, follow the sequence, and let the structure carry.
The stars orient you. The path carries you. Choose the navigation method that matches your actual entry condition, not your fantasy of being organized.
Constellation Integrity
The Constellation is not a set of options. It is a navigation field. Stars are positions, not preferences.
Positional Read
Determine which star reflects the current state of the system.
Non-Substitution
Skipping to a preferred star introduces distortion.
Relational Movement
Stars imply adjacency and sequence, not independence.
You do not “pick a star.” You locate where you are. Movement follows from position. Not preference.
The Constellation is treated like a toolkit. Operators select what they like instead of reading what is required.
Stars do not exist for preference.

The constellation is not decoration. It is the reader’s first encounter with organized possibility.

Do not substitute preference for position. That is how the constellation turns into a personality quiz with shinier buttons. Gross.
