Field Terms
The conditions shaping movement.
If behaviour surprises you, you missed something here.
Barrier to movement: effort, friction, risk, confusion, discomfort, or future burden.

Behaviour that emerges under current conditions.
What happens repeatedly is what the system is built for.
Changing conditions instead of forcing people.
Cheaper. Cleaner. More honest.
Field arrangement that reduces the need for direct intervention.

Reading Terms

Holding Terms
A Mi’kmaw teaching often described as using the strengths of multiple ways of knowing together; ARF holds this as a permission-seeking lineage reference, with attribution, humility, boundaries, and correction in process.
Resonance is not permission. Permission is not portable.
A perspective grounded in observable reality.
If it cannot survive the field, it is fiction.
Unresolved relationship between valid views.
This is where the information is. Do not rush past it.
Sustaining multiple perspectives without forcing resolution.
If you feel urgency, check who it is serving.
Forcing agreement prematurely.
Feels like clarity. Functions like blindness.
Pattern Hints
Use these before the glossary becomes a doctrine sticker sheet with a superiority complex.
Re-enter the system. The term is a pointer. It means more after use, pressure, and return.
Check the bones. Compression keeps load-bearing structure. If structure vanished, that was not compression. That was a blender accident with confidence.
